CSii is working closely with industry partners to develop clear commercialization plans for our first robotic platform, called IGAR, and work to accelerate both product launch and availability. Our first partners include; MacDonald Dettwiler and Associates (MDA), McMaster University and St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton with additional support from Johnson & Johnson, GE, and Stryker Canada.
The CSii partnership with MDA has allowed us to leverage Canada’s investment in Space Robotics and informatics. Partnerships with GE, Johnson & Johnson and Stryker will enable us to remain on the cutting edge of tele-medicine, surgical and imaging innovations that align well with the new robotics and interventional platforms and provide access to market leadership in the sales and distribution of medical products that will help accelerate our progression into targeted markets.
The CSii approach to application specific development involves end users in the design of the device for targeted applications that have been identified by intense market analysis.
CSii will continue to seek new opportunities to partner with members of the academic, clinical and private sectors, as well as, with other CECR or NCE research and commercialization groups. Our focus is on forming relationships with other leading Canadian and global organizations that focus on adjunct technologies in the fields of robotics, image guidance and micro-robotics and medical product companies with expertise in robotics, imaging and ablative technologies.
